Naksh Awtaney, an 11-year-old artist and entrepreneur from Dubai, is channeling his passion for drawing into a charitable cause. Naksh customizes shoes, mugs, coasters, and tote bags, with all proceeds donated to children affected by the Gaza crisis.
Inspired by his family’s culture of giving back, Naksh believes that even small efforts can make a significant impact. Starting his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 8, Naksh transforms white footwear into wearable pieces of art, charging AED30 per pair. For those without shoes, he procures a pair and charges AED100, directing the proceeds to various charitable causes, presently focused on aiding children in Gaza.
Naksh encourages others to contribute in their own small ways and is accepting orders for tote bags and shoes throughout November. His message to peers is a call for collective goodness to make the world a better place.
