Workers of Dubai healthcare, who were in close contact with Covid-19 positive, have been excluded from quarantine.
In a circular released by the Dubai Healthcare Authority, the decision is in line with the directives from the Command and Control Centre for Covid-19 in Dubai.
Healthcare workers can avoid quarantine if the following conditions are met:
- Contact healthcare workers are free of symptoms;
- The primary series of vaccination and the booster dose have been taken;
- the primary series of vaccinations have been completed and they had earlier been infected with Covid-19.
As of Thursday, January 20, this circular is in effect. Similarly, the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi issued a mandate for healthcare workers as well.
