UAE issues alerts for continuing heavy rains; safety measures urged

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued yellow and orange alerts for continued heavy rains in the UAE. The NCM has warned of hazardous weather events, and the public is advised to follow the rules issued by authorities.

Residents are urged to be cautious when going outdoors, especially when driving. The Abu Dhabi Police has issued an alert for motorists to be careful and pay attention to changing speed limits, which will be displayed on electronic signs along the road.

Additionally, light to moderate winds may cause blowing dust and sand. Temperatures will range between 25°C and 32°C in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The sea conditions will be moderate to rough at times, particularly in the Arabian Gulf, and slight to moderate with rough patches in the Oman Sea.
