The UAE has severely denounced the recent burning of churches and countless homes in Pakistan, as well as the ensuing unrest. The Pakistani government’s attempts to combat these illegal activities were lauded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).
The UAE restated its unequivocal opposition to activities that jeopardise security and stability, emphasising that hate speech and extremism are incompatible with global initiatives promoting tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
The Ministry emphasised the necessity of respecting religious symbols and avoiding provocation, emphasising the need of international partnership in upholding tolerance and coexisting ideals for overall stability and sustainable development.
