Federal Law No. 10 of 2022 regulating the registration of births and deaths Article 11 states that birth notification and birth certificate of an unknown Father, stating that the Health Authority shall issue a birth notification for the kid of an unknown father based on his mother’s data as shown by her ID or Passport.
And, on the basis of a declaration by the mother, the responsible department shall issue the birth certificate for the child of an unknown father based on a court order from a competent court including the determination of the child’s name and nationality.
The birth certificate will not include the court ruling.
