We have been waiting eagerly for the public holidays since the quarter of 2022. We are still waiting to switch off, get together with friends and family, try out a local restaurant, and go on excursions to different tourist destinations in the UAE. That is why, if you genuinely desired an extra day off, I cannot blame you.
We had our first holiday of the year on January 2, which also happened to be the first day of the UAE’s new weekend schedule. The question is, when will the next vacation be?
It’s time to start counting down because the world will celebrate Eid Al Fitr on May 1. This vacation could provide us with a five-day rest. Then there’s Arafat Day, which is expected to take place on Friday, July 8. On the other hand, Eid Al-Adha is set to begin on Saturday, July 9, and end on Tuesday, July 12. The Islamic New Year will be celebrated on July 30, a Saturday.
Furthermore, Prophet Muhammad’s birthday comes on Saturday, October 8, and the UAE celebrates Commemoration Day and National Day from December 1-3.
In 2022, the UAE government will confirm all UAE public holidays closer to the day.
Do you want to know what to do on the next UAE public holiday in 2022? It’s never too early to start planning.
