The Sharjah Road and Transport Authority has announced that the speed limit on the Wadi Madiq-Kalba road has been reduced.
The speed limit has been raised from 80 to 100 kilometers per hour.
According to authorities, the speed restriction has been reduced because there are no residential areas or metropolitan centers nearby and the route is smooth.
The route, also known as E102, links Wadi Madiq to Kalba, which is only 12 kilometers from the border with Fujairah.
