Saudi Arabia executes an American citizen found guilty of homicide The death of American citizen Bishoy Sharif Naji Naseef, who had been convicted of killing his Egyptian father, was announced by the Saudi Interior Ministry.
The Ministry said that Naseef had killed his father by beating and strangling him, as well as admitting that he had taken drugs, dismembered his father’s body, and attempted to kill someone else before being apprehended. The statement made no mention of how Naseef would be put to death.
It’s unknown if Naseef had a US address, even if his lawyer is still unnamed. Requests for comment from the US State Department have not yet received a response.
