The National Centre of Meteorology in the United Arab Emirates has issued a red alert due to heavy fog, which is primarily impacting the Al Ain region, with a yellow notice for other locations.
Until 8:30am, the warning is in effect. Due to decreased visibility, motorists are recommended to use caution.
Partially overcast conditions are expected during the day, and overnight humidity will continue.
Winds will range from mild to moderate, with some strong gusts. Maximum temperatures of 46 degrees Celsius are anticipated in Abu Dhabi and 40 degrees Celsius in Dubai.
