According to the Emirates Department of Health’s updated COVID-19 guidelines, a PCR test will now cost AED 40 in all medical facilities in Abu Dhabi.

Previously, the cost of a PCR test in the capital was AED 50, with some people receiving a free test.

The cost reduction came just two days after the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) amended several Covid-19 regulations affecting city residents, government personnel, and visitors.
