A customer on Abu Dhabi’s first low-cost airline was surprised with an unlimited number of complimentary roundtrip plane tickets to any place of her choice for a year. The lucky traveler was the millionth person to fly with Air Arabia Abu Dhabi.
From its headquarters at Abu Dhabi International Airport, the airline has transported 1,000,000 passengers on over 8,000 flights to 25 destinations. The lucky one-millionth customer was met by airline and airport employees at Abu Dhabi Airport as she checked in for her flight 3L714 to Tbilisi.
Air Arabia’s group chief executive officer, Adel Al Ali, said the airline is happy to have reached the milestone in just two years, “during the thick of the Covid-19 epidemic.”
