After approval by the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee, the EDE scanners and the green pass requirement for entering the emirate from the UAE will be removed on Monday, February 28.
The UAE relaxed its capacity and social distance restrictions on February 15 following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Cinemas, sports stadiums, and places of worship are back to full capacity after the number of Covid-19 cases dropped after a spike due to the Omicron variant.
