The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has urged private sector establishments with 50 or more workers to accelerate efforts to meet Emiratisation targets by achieving a 2 percent annual growth rate in the Emiratisation of skilled jobs before December 31, 2023.
Non-compliance may lead to financial contributions. Establishments falling short can use the Nafis platform to find Emirati job seekers.
MoHRE commended over 18,000 establishments meeting targets, contributing to a historic increase in Emiratis joining the private sector. Inspection teams monitor compliance and take legal action against violators.
The ministry is committed to supporting the private sector’s role in advancing Emiratisation plans and increasing Emirati talents’ contribution to the UAE’s economic development through public-private partnerships.
