According to the report of Gulf News, Sharjah based Pakistani driver Umar, could not believe the timing of his winning moment. According to him, when he got a call from Mahzooz that he won AED100,000, he was planning to apply for loan for the education of his twin brothers.
“This money arrived in the nick of time. I can now accomplish my goal of helping my brothers without any debt, all thanks to Mahzooz. I was going through such a difficult time, trying to meet all my family members’ needs. But now, I can fulfil all my loved ones’ dreams,” said Umar.
On the other hand, two Filipinos also won the same price on the 68th weekly draw. Melencio and Eleanor where both overjoyed when they found out about their win. Melencio said: “ I shouted when I saw my name on the screen during the live draw.”
Meanwhile, Eleanor broke down in tears of gratitude when she found out that she had won: “My sister-in-law called me in the middle of dinner. I had mixed emotions.”
A total of 39 other winners shared the Dh1 million second-tier prize of Dh25,641 in the 68th Mahzooz Grand Draw.
