According to the UAE’s Ministry of Human Resource and Emiratisation study, about 40 percent of all jobs are expected to become outmoded ten years from now. These findings are expected to grow further by 2030 with the rise of technology.
In the report of Al Khaleej, three categories can be possibly replaced soon; the sales and retail trade, production and construction sector, and office and administrative support.
Thus, it can affect jobs like cashiers, travel agents, cooks in fast-food restaurants, bank tellers, and textile workers.
According to Al Khaleej, 114,000 jobs could become automated as firms adopt cloud computing and artificial intelligence technologies.
