“Penduko” premiered in UAE cinemas on December 25, 2023, at the same time as its release in the Philippines. This was a big deal for fans in both places.
The movie is about Matteo Guidicelli as Pedro Penduko, a guy raised in America who goes to the Philippines after his dad dies. There, he faces curses and bad forces threatening a town.
The film also has Kylie Verzosa, John Arcilla, and Albert Martinez. Jason Paul Laxamana directed the movie, promising action, fantasy, and supernatural stuff with Filipino folklore. “Penduko” also hit screens in Saudi Arabia and Qatar on December 28, 2023.
