An Emirati aid aircraft has landed in Amdjarass, Chad, to bring humanitarian aid to the local populace.
The aircraft was greeted by the UAE humanitarian team in Chad, which included the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation (ZHF), and the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
The supplies cargo is part of an ongoing humanitarian effort to help Amdjarass. The Emirati humanitarian team performed field visits in the region to assess needs and is committed to addressing the basic needs of both the local population and Sudanese refugees in Chad.
As seen by its efforts in Chad, the UAE continues to play a leadership role in humanitarian and charity endeavours.
