Elon Musk has once again claimed the title of the world’s richest person, following a period of controversy surrounding his wealth. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Musk’s net worth reached $181 billion, surpassing that of Bernard Arnault, whose family owns LVMH, the world’s leading luxury group. Arnault’s net worth was estimated at $185 billion.
Musk’s return to the top of the rich list is due in part to the resurgence of Tesla’s stock, which has doubled in value since hitting a low point on January 6th. Despite recent setbacks, Musk’s innovative ventures continue to capture investor interest and fuel his wealth.
Meanwhile, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos remains in third place on the list with an estimated fortune of $117 billion.
