To celebrate community-focused restaurants throughout the world, global sports retailer Adidas has unveiled the SUPERSTAR RAVI shoe, a collaboration between sneaker culture and Dubai’s culinary industry.
As part of a series of 11 sneakers honoring legendary eateries across the globe, the release will be available on June 23 at select Dubai retailers and online.
In a particular focus of the collaboration is Dubai’s Ravi restaurant, one of the city’s most nostalgic and renowned restaurants that has long served both expats and Emiratis.
This limited edition colorway celebrates the owners’ Pakistani ancestry with a hand-drawn map graphic highlighting the meaning of the word Ravi, which means “river” in Northeastern Pakistan.
