Australian expat Jimmy Wright, based in Dubai, is set to attempt a Guinness World Record for cycling 600km from Saudi Arabia to the UAE.
He aims to raise AED1 million for cancer treatment, with all funds going to the Al Jalila Foundation, particularly to assist children battling terminal or life-threatening cancer.
This cause is deeply personal to Jimmy, as his wife successfully fought breast cancer. He hopes to make a positive impact on the lives of young patients and inspire support for their treatment.
Jimmy’s rigorous training and unwavering focus reflect his determination to break the current record. He sets off next week, drawing strength from his family’s resilience and the children he aims to help.
