Dubai Police achieved impressive response times, with security patrols reaching emergency sites in an average of 2 minutes and 32 seconds, surpassing their target of three minutes. Emergency calls to 999 had a response rate of 99.7% within 10 seconds, exceeding the target of 97%.
In total, they responded to 7.4 million calls in 2022. Major General Pilot Ahmad Mohammed bin Thani inspected various AI advancements, including the “Virtual Operations Room” smart goggles and a handheld wireless operations toolkit.
Additionally, he learned about innovative projects and achievements within the General Department of Operations, including advancements in drone technology and recognition for innovation in the Dubai Police Commander-in-Chief Awards.
The department also extended its membership in the European Emergency Number Association (EENA) and pioneered the E-call service as a third-party service in the country.
