Dubai Police achieved impressive response times, with security patrols reaching emergency sites in an average of 2 minutes and 32 seconds, surpassing their target of three minutes. Emergency calls to 999 had a response rate of 99.7% within 10 seconds, exceeding the target of 97%.
In total, they responded to 7.4 million calls in 2022. Major General Pilot Ahmad Mohammed bin Thani inspected various AI advancements, including the “Virtual Operations Room” smart goggles and a handheld wireless operations toolkit.

The department also extended its membership in the European Emergency Number Association (EENA) and pioneered the E-call service as a third-party service in the country.
