Ahmed Khalifa Al Mazrouei, an officer at Dubai Police, has achieved a remarkable feat by reaching the summit of Toubkal Mountain in Morocco. Toubkal Mountain stands as the highest peak in both North Africa and the Arab world, as well as the seventh highest peak in Africa, towering at an altitude of 4,167 meters.
Al Mazrouei attributed his successful climb to the unwavering support, encouragement, and emphasis on physical preparedness provided by Dubai Police. He expressed his gratitude and sense of accomplishment for overcoming the numerous challenges and completing the arduous journey within a remarkable 22 hours.
The climb presented Al Mazrouei with various difficulties, including freezing temperatures, oxygen deficiency at the mountain’s summit, and low air pressure. However, he was able to overcome these obstacles due to his physical readiness, meticulous pre-preparation, and his regular practice of hiking, which significantly enhanced his physical capabilities.
Al Mazrouei highlighted that hiking is a sport that demands high levels of physical fitness, while simultaneously offering the thrill of adventure and the satisfaction of overcoming challenges. His remarkable achievement not only showcases his personal determination but also reflects the dedication of Dubai Police in fostering physical fitness and encouraging its officers to reach new heights.
