Dubai Mall celebrated the grand opening of Chinatown on September 23, 2023. The inauguration was attended by notable figures including UAE Minister of Economy Abdullah Bin Touq Al Marri, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province Ma Xin, and others.
Chinatown offers a vibrant immersion into Chinese culture, traditions, and cuisine. Visitors can explore a market offering a range of Chinese handicrafts and artifacts.
The highlight, however, is the food court, featuring a diverse selection of authentic Chinese dishes. This launch also kicks off China Week, a cultural celebration in collaboration with the Consulate General of China in Dubai, featuring various activities and exhibitions showcasing traditional Chinese art and culture.
