The “Live Saver Season: Be a Donor” project was launched by Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) to create awareness about organ donation and support the Hayat Organ Donation Programme.
The campaign’s goal is to encourage more UAE residents to become registered organ donors. In partnership with the Hayat Organ Donation Programme and the National Centre for Regulating Human Organs and Tissue Transplantation, the DHCC hosted a public awareness event.
This effort draws on DHCC’s track record of successful organ transplant surgeries and its continued dedication to improving organ transplant procedures. The programme comprises educational workshops with professionals in the field of organ transplantation, with the purpose of educating communities on the necessity of organ donation.
The UAE’s aggressive policies on organ donation and transplantation have resulted in substantial progress in the Hayat programme, with successful organ transplants and enhanced patient quality of life.
