Dubai Courts has issued a plea to residents in the UAE, calling upon them to update their Emirates ID details through the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security. Taking to Twitter, the authority shared an alert, informing customers that they can conveniently update their IDs by following a provided link: https://icp.gov.ae/service/@UAEICP.
The announcement emphasized that updating Emirates IDs will facilitate effective communication from Dubai Courts regarding any legal proceedings. Additionally, earlier this year, the Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security authority (ICP) introduced a redesigned Emirates ID registration form with new features, such as the inclusion of the applicant’s photo and QR codes for tracking the application and accessing customer services.
Notably, the ICP also confirmed an increase in the fees for issuing Emirates IDs and visas at the beginning of the year, affecting all services provided by the authority.
