Doja Cat has released a new single titled “Balut,” offering a self-assured and braggadocious vibe. The song is part of her upcoming album, “Scarlet,” which is scheduled to be released on September 22, 2023, through Kemosabe Records/RCA Records.
This release follows several other singles from the album, including “Paint the Town Red” and “Demons,” which also received a horror-inspired music video featuring Christina Ricci. Doja Cat’s North American tour in support of “Scarlet” is set to begin on Halloween and run through December, with support from Ice Spice and Doechii on select dates.
In July, Doja Cat experienced a significant drop in her social media following after opting not to fake a connection with her fans that didn’t align with her true feelings, expressing a sense of liberation from the experience.
