The Dubai Marine Transport Master Plan 2030 has received the approval of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council.
The maritime transport network will be increased by 188%, passenger lines will expand by 400%, and 3D printing technology will be used to build the first electric abra in the world. By 2030, the strategy wants to see a 51% rise in the number of maritime transport users, from 14.7 million to 22.2 million yearly.
Additionally, it describes notable growth in the number of stations, passenger transport lines, and marine transport fleet in addition to the network’s overall length.
