The Hatta Sustainable Waterfalls project’s ongoing development has been inspected by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). This AED 46 million project is a component of DEWA’s dedication to promoting Hatta as a distinctive tourism destination.
The project supports His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s goal of promoting comprehensive and sustainable development in Dubai while conserving Hatta’s cultural history and allure of nature. The Hatta Sustainable Waterfalls project seeks to create a sustainable natural setting and develop the region into a well-known tourist destination in the United Arab Emirates.
It entails establishing an organic water stream that blends in with Hatta’s surroundings. The project will also include four oasis that will include facilities including cafes, restaurants, playgrounds, and stores offering regional goods, honey, and trinkets. These stores, which His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has given to the people of Hatta, will create jobs and further the city’s social, economic, and environmental progress.
The project will use the Hatta plant’s top dam’s slope to produce a natural cascade. The water utilised in the cascade will be gathered, recycled, and returned to the top of the dam through a channel that will be built below the dam. Restaurants and recreational areas will also be built there.
