The hottesttable in town is La Table, where the region’s most fĂªted chefs are hosted in the pop-up kitchen concept at the Gate Village in DIFC. Throughout the month of May diners can enjoy Chef Sara Aqel’s delicious dishes which celebrate her Palestinian roots and love of Italian cuisine. Sara Aqel’s dishes have won her Michelin’s Bib Gourmand recognition, so if not already, be sure to book ahead for this popular spot.
Boca, located in Gate Village 6, is hosting a seven-week exclusive female-led kitchen takeover, and from 24-25 May Dubai-based chef Trisha Henaul, Culinary Director of the popular restaurant, Tandoor Tina will be taking the helm. Her four-course menu will feature fresh, local, high-quality ingredients, bold, bright flavours straight from the grill and the classic Indian tandoor. Make sure to reserve in advance as tables will be booked up in no time!
Beefbar  in Gate Village 2 has a more casual vibe than its award-winning mother brand, Le Beef Bar (which was recently crowned the world’s #1 Best Steak Restaurant), but its dishes are of the same incredible standard. The menu includes crowd pleasers like the Insane Rock Corn, Signature Bao Buns, the Mini Big K Kobe beef bacon burgers and many more. Â
Mere months after its opening,La Niña, located in ICD Brookfield Place, has become one of the most celebrated spots in Dubai to enjoy authentic Modern Iberian cuisine with a nod to Latino flavours. The menu focuses on from Portugal and Spain with a stunning restaurant interior that transports diners straight to the heart of Europe.
Raspoutine has a sizzling summer special menu of a luxurious eight course tasting menu, featuring their signature Royal Oscietra caviar, sirloin of Wagyu beef, lobster served with endive and gremolata and finishing with an exclusive dessert of berries and chocolate. The special summer menu is only available Wednesday through Saturday from 8pm and reservations are highly encouraged to experience Raspoutine, located in Precinct Building 3.
Slice of India by Kitch-in, located in Gate District Building 2, celebrates the richness and diversity of India’s culinary heritage, offering a wide range of authentic Indian dishes, from the classic Butter Chicken to aromatic Biryanis and vegetarian favourites. Kitch-In is headed up by Dubai’s culinary superstars Chef Izu Ani and restauranteur Evgeny Kuzin.
For more casual delights, diners can try the newly opened Sushi Fashion in Gate Avenue, whose mission statement is to set the highest benchmark in designing sushi, making it a feast for the eyes (and stomach). Advocado in Gate Avenue proudly provides the healthiest menu items and also has an extensive range of meals for vegans. Already a firm favourite in other locations in Dubai, Right Bite has now opened in DIFC which also offers meal plans. Located in South Market, Tawa Bakery is a gluten-free paradise, providing delicious baked goods and meals that are completely free from gluten, from delicious pizzas, pancakes and luqaimat.
