Due to low cases of Covid-19 cases in UAE, the authorities decided to return and allow the Ramadan tent, a famous place of gathering for suhoor and iftar during Ramadan.
Last 2020 and 2021, the tents were cancelled due to the rise of Covid-19. According to the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, the tents would be installed this year following the Ramandan, which is expected to fall starting April 2.
Charitable organizations delivered iftar dishes directly to those in need rather than to tents or mosques in 2020 to prevent mass gatherings amid an outbreak of Coronavirus.
