There’s a chance that the Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr holidays in the UAE will be extended a little longer this May, giving expats a six-day break.
On April 2, the Holy Month is expected to begin. This is also the start of the Muslim community’s fasting period.
Experts predict that the holiday will begin on Sunday, May 1 and end on Wednesday, May 4. If, and only if, Ramadan lasts 29 days, it will provide a five-day vacation for everyone.
However, if Ramadan reaches 30 days, it is possible that it will last longer and stretch to Thursday, May 5. As a result, there will be a six-day break.
A holiday will mark the end of Ramadan for the public and private sectors in accordance with UAE law. This holiday will begin on the 29th of Ramadan and last until the third day of Shawwal.
