The new labor laws of United Arab Emirates will allow employees to work for more than one employer starting on February 02, 2022.
According to the Federal Law No. 33 of 202, regulating labor relations, employees in the private sector can work part-time, temporary, or flexible.
Offering alternative types of employment, besides full-time jobs, helps protect employees’ rights, enabling them to have more than one career and use their skills differently.
Those under the new law are subject to contractual obligations that may change according to the employer’s level of work, economic variables, and operational variables.
Based on each working model, the law’s executive regulations specify each party’s responsibilities, including gratuities at the end of the employment relationship.
