Dubai, United Arab Emirates : As Dubai gears up to welcome guests for Expo 2021, Swissôtel Al Ghurair celebrates the event with live-streaming of the opening ceremony, launching a seven-month family friendly brunch inspired by Expo 2020 as guests will set off every Friday on a culinary journey around the world.
As the world witnesses in awe the grand opening ceremony on the Sept. 30, 2021, Liwan restaurant will live-stream the spectacular performance along with a special Arabic themed S.B.G. Barbecue buffet.
Paying homage to the host country, the S.B.G. or “Seared. Braised. Grilled” weekend buffet blends in rich flavors of five different home-made sauces with Middle-eastern fusions. Guests can indulge in specialties like Beef Ox-Tail Ouzi style, slow cooked T-Bone Steaks, Sumac Spiced Beef Ribs and Dawood Basha and end the evening on a sweet-note with Um-Ali, Mango Mousse Verrine, Tiramisu, Carrot Cake. Priced at AED 99 per adult, AED 50 for children between 6 to 12 years and complimentary for children below 6 years, the special S.B.G. Weekend Grillers will be available from 6.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.
Swissôtel Al Ghurair also launches a seven-month long brunch campaign of “Around the World with Swissôtel Al Ghurair” where our discerning diners are invited for a culinary journey to 15 different destinations on the globe, starting off with a “Swiss” theme on the Oct. 1, 2021, resonating with the Swiss hospitality of the brand.
From Switzerland to America, through the Middle East, Europe and Asia, families are invited on an exploration trail of world’s flavors and children’s activities. Recognizing and celebrating the guests and cultures from all over the world, Liwan restaurant will host special brunch buffets for Diwali on Nov. 5, International Children’s Day on Nov. 19, Orthodox Christmas brunch onJan. 7, Chinese New Year on Jan. 28, Japanese National Day on Feb. 11, Italian Carnivale on March 4 along with Christmas and New Year’s Brunch.
