Dubai Municipality, a COP28 Strategic Pathway Partner, is set to unveil new projects and environmental commitments at the COP28 conference.
The municipality will showcase its sustainable community model and make significant announcements in the Green Zone, focusing on decarbonization, energy transition, urban greening, biodiversity preservation, expanding nature reserves, sustainable waste management, and achieving net-zero operations.
The initiatives aim to promote a sustainable urban society and align with Dubai Municipality’s impact pillars. Director General Dawoud Al Hajri emphasized the municipality’s commitment to showcasing pioneering initiatives and supporting the COP28 Presidency’s mission for global climate action.
Dubai Municipality will participate in themed workshops and announce a full program of activities and announcements ahead of the conference, aligning with COP28’s action plan.
