The Dubai Police, in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), have conducted a course to educate the ministry’s inspectors about human trafficking and its transnational aspects.
The course aims to raise awareness and equip inspectors with essential knowledge. Brigadier Hasan Nasser Al Razooqi emphasized the importance of this training in combating human trafficking and praised the cooperation between Dubai Police and MoHRE.
Colonel Saeed Rashid Al Heli highlighted the significance of understanding the signs and impacts of human trafficking and how to respond to it. The course includes 16 workshops and will be conducted nationwide.
Mohsin Al Nassi emphasized that this course complements the ministry’s efforts in equipping inspectors with the necessary skills and knowledge to confront illegal practices in the labor market and uphold national legislation.
He also commended Dubai Police for their role in combating human trafficking and supporting victims, contributing to the country’s standing in human rights on a regional and international scale.
