Flights to Tel Aviv Cancelled Amid Escalating Gaza-Israel Conflict

There have been more flight cancellations to Tel Aviv as the war between Israel and Hamas heats up. Etihad and Flydubai among other Gulf and Indian airlines have halted operations. Flights on Monday were also cancelled, according to Etihad, which stressed the importance of passenger safety.

Due to the attacks, Flydubai had to cancel two flights on Saturday. On Sunday, business as usual was restored. The Abraham Accords in 2020 led to the establishment of direct flights by UAE airlines to Tel Aviv.

In the meanwhile, flights to Tel Aviv were also cancelled by Lufthansa, Brussels Airlines, Air France, Iberia, and ITA Airways because of security reasons. Two flights of Air India were cancelled for passenger safety; the length of the disruptions is still unknown.

Even while several carriers, like United carriers and Air France, announced cancellations, they were still taking reservations online for flights to Tel Aviv on Monday. Both sides of the fight have suffered substantial losses, and hundreds of civilians have been impacted.
