Syed Ali Bathusha Thivansha, an Indian expatriate, won $1 million in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire campaign. The draw took held in Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport.
On August 30, Thivansha, who lives in the UAE, purchased the winning ticket, number 4392 in the Millennium Millionaire Series 434, online. Since the promotion’s inception in 1999, he has become the 215th Indian national to become a billionaire.
In addition, two more winners in the Finest Surprise draw were revealed. Bishr Shiblaq, a German national residing in the UAE, received a Mercedes-Benz S500, and Stephane Guilleret, a French national residing in the UAE, received a Harley-Davidson Nightster motorcycle. Guilleret is the 11th French national to win a motorbike through this campaign.
