UAE announces opening of 11 schools as part of Zayed New Educational Complexes

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court, announced the opening of 11 new educational complexes across the UAE as part of the Zayed Educational Complexes initiative. These facilities, which are built to fulfil global education standards, include 920 classrooms and can accommodate approximately 28,000 students. Each building is the size of four schools and is outfitted with cutting-edge facilities such as labs, sports facilities, and theatres.

The project marks a remarkable national success, having been accomplished in an astounding 6 to 8 months with the involvement of over 30 local groups. It demonstrates the UAE’s dedication to delivering a world-class learning environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and the development of future generations. Sheikh Mansour emphasised the project’s compatibility with the UAE’s visionary leadership and its commitment to education as a foundation for long-term prosperity.

The commitment of nearly 16,000 engineers, supervisors, and labourers who contributed a staggering 94 million work hours enabled the completion of this massive project, which featured 200 labs and 44 sports facilities.
