Emirates A380 grounded after wing damage: Airline prioritizes safety

The Emirates Airbus A380 has been grounded at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport in France owing to damage to a slat in the right wing. 

The incident occurred on aircraft EK 77 from Dubai to Nice over the weekend. Engineers noticed the problem after landing, causing the aircraft to undertake further inspections.

 The airline prioritises safety, and inquiries into the cause of the damage are underway. The Airbus A380 is the world’s largest passenger aeroplane, and Emirates is the main operator of this aircraft series.
