The UAE has reintroduced the three-month visit visa, allowing visitors to stay in the country for up to 90 days.
Previously, the visa had been replaced with a long-term 60-day visa. Travel agents can assist individuals in obtaining the 90-day visit visa, which was reintroduced at the end of May 2023. The visa can be extended within the UAE at an additional cost.
There are two types of entry permits: tourist visas issued for 30 or 60 days, and visit visas issued for 90 days. The reintroduction of the extended visit visa provides travelers with more flexibility in planning their itineraries.
The visa is available for Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and anyone can apply for it. The fee for a 90-day visit visa ranges from AED1,500 to AED2,000, with the possibility of extension.
The required documents include a recent passport-size photograph and a passport copy. Processing time for the visa is typically five working days but can be expedited in two days.
