The Department of Economic Development in Ajman (Ajman DED) and the Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) are preparing to launch the “Ajman Food Festival” in its 1st edition in Ajman Marina on 9th March.
The four-day event will see 38 exhibitors from the most famous restaurants and cafes participating in the festival. The event includes various entertainment activities, live cooking shows, competitions and workshops that suit all segments of society, adults and children, in an atmosphere full of fun and entertainment.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Nuaimi, Director of Business Development Administration at the Ajman DED, said, “The Ajman Food Festival comes to support national projects, investors in the food and beverage sector, and owners of small and medium enterprises (SME), and to spread the culture of entrepreneurship in society, which has become a development requirement for building the UAE economy, and to support the objective of sustainable economic development.”
Al Nuaimi added, “The Festival promotes ambitious ideas that support Ajman’s economy and contributes to developing the confidence among partners and the public.”
He thanked the Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) for supporting project owners and contributing to this festival’s success, stressing that by concerted efforts, we will reach leadership and achieve our strategic goals in supporting the economic growth of Ajman in particular and the UAE in general.
Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashemi, Director-General of the ATDD, stated, “The Festival will contribute to enhancing the tourist attractions, supporting the Emirati entrepreneurs’ projects, and contributing to raising Ajman’s position among the best tourist destinations in the region, due to the increase in visitors’ confidence in it as a preferred destination for tourism and travel.”
Al Hashemi pointed out that the festival highlights the most delicious foods through exceptional experiences for food lovers and various activities, including cooking shows, entertainment events and competitions.
