Residents of the UAE will soon be able to renew their Emirates ID without difficulty via new smart service. Applicants will be able to register without leaving their homes.
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) announced the debut of the new smart service during Gitex Global Dubai on Thursday.
According to reports, the application may be completed in many phases, either by application number or by utilizing images of a resident’s passport page. The phone camera will be configured as a fingerprint, palm, and face features scanner.
Not only that, but the IDs may be completed in a matter of seconds, which means that the only thing you’ll have to wait for is the courier service. Same-day delivery is also available.
